Sparky's 2009 Kona Fire Mountain

Apart from brakes and shifters, all I have is a suspension lockout, Garmin and light. The light isn't normally there, but I'm going on a night ride this evening.

None of those things get in the way of the shifters or brakes though; the problem is that shifters and brakes both want to be in the same place, but can't.

Hope do a fiting for their brake calipers for fitting a shifter. It replaces the bottom half of the clamp. So you end up with only a single clamp for both, plus better thumb reach. They come in different flavours for the different shifters.

I'd go with X9. But XT is aces, its just a taste thing.

Have you considered going 1 x 10, and simplyfing things?
