Mountain bike videos

Just looked online and $550 is not 'dirt cheap'. Dirt cheap is my old 9 speed jump bike, £150 complete including fox vanilla forks. And that had brakes. I completely buy into the idea of getting out and having fun not worrying about the latest kit, especially when your riding ability does not justify it. But FFS, brakes enable you to go faster, and if you love riding so fucking much then how about giving yourself half a chance of not going into a tree and putting yourself out of action for 3 months.

A bit of retro action - good.

Wilfully backward - bad.

I didn't know they were selling them: that does kinda take the shine off the video. And you're right: a pair of decent disk brakes is one bit of fancy kit everyone does need.
