• These were for my son to maybe encourage him to use a bike but with his job too far away and working nights this realistically isnt going to happen anytime soon. Both pairs are new and unused

Polaris Extreme Winter Glove in large, suit approx 22-24cm palm:
Polyeurothane palm grip which is very durable
Mini Ripstop fabric on backs along with reflexite strips
    Hypora waterproof insert fleece liner
    drawstring/elasticted wrist
I have a pair of these and they are fantastic, supremely warm and nicely waterproof too (not tested in extreme downpour but in decent rainfall were spot on with no ingress/wet sensation at all) I also found them to be very good in terms of manipulation of the fingers/thumb so using gear/brake levers was very easy.
There's a woolly like liner glove built into these (normally not removeable as it is sewn into at the base) that is nice and soft on the hands. I've used mine down to -4 air temp with speed up to 25mph or thereabouts so windchill much more and they've been great. My very cold winter rides tend not to be of any length so those who ride sub zero temps for hours at a time I would have no idea as to longevity of comfort.
I also need to point out a minor flaw, there's a minute 2mm split right at the base of the forfinger on the palm side, I've exactly the same on mine and makes zero difference. I've used mine for 3 winters and the split is the same size so have no reason to suspect this would be any different.

SOLD Next we have a 'Indicator' glove in X-large(for roughly 23cm+ palms), the batteries are long gone in terms of using the LEDs on the backs of the glove but these make for a very good spring cum autumn long fingered glove (perfect for cooler rides in the summer too). I've used a pair for the last 5 years or so and are decent enough blotting out the wind but not massively waterproof though I didn't find them uncomfortable per-se when they were very wet. However the pittards leather palm is very very hard wearing and despite being soaked on many occasion never gets damaged or mouldy (I normally bang mine on the radiator in the hallway) There's also a towelling section on the thumb, decently long at the wrist and very comfy, again manipulation for brake/shift levers is easy.
