Surely just a bit of a tidy up first and then see if you like it.
If it's designed for flat bars then the TT is probably fairly long, so you'd have to take that into consideration if you wanted drops.
TBH my thoughts would be more of a summer cruiser thing than touring (unless you actually want to go touring).
