Pashley Provence for sale (known the Penny for 2013). The bike was bought new from Velorution about 18 months ago and I would say has covered 25 miles in that time as life has been dominated by pregnancy and the arrival of a new little man. However, the end is in sight and my other half is determined to get back on the bike when she goes back to work - but she will need a Brompton for the new commute, so this must go.
Lovely metallic red, and when this was new it was a custom paint job with the sprayed matching mud and chainguards which were ordinarily silver/clear. For 2013 you get them in matching colours but this colour is no longer available so it really is a one-off. I replaced the stock bars with some nice swept risers to alter the fit slightly and I actually think they look great too. Spec wise you get the classic mixte frame, a 5spd SA hub with front & rear hub brakes which are very effective, quality Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres (practically new as you would expect) but not the Brooks I'm afraid, she wants to keep that, so I'll sort something else out unless you would prefer to add your own. Stored indoors since new too so I will try to give it a dust before it goes.
These are the lightest of the Pashleys and make a cracking low-maintenance town bike. The ride is spectacularly comfortable whenever I have tried it. Size-wise they are 1 size and fit most up to about 5'10".
