Should be, it has about as much metal of the same kind disposed in about the same way. If it doesn't fit, though, you can't do anything about it, whereas with square taper you can always fit a longer BB. For snug clearance problems, though, I'd suggest the SRAM S300 1.1, because it has the spider outboard of the chainring.
