I am doing the same research for a pair of bars to fit a quill, to put STi shifters on. I found that you can get modern bars (i.e. are good for STi mounting) if you look for bars with a 26mm clamp, and then get that size quill. These for example: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cinelli-vai-road-handlebar/
