This is rubbish. Drivers don't get 'confused' when they see a cyclist.
They get angry when there's a perception of 'being held up', or get aggressive for the same reasons. Or they make a dangerous move because their driving ability is poor. Alternatively they use their skill and judgement to make a safe move, or deem it safe not to make any move and wait patiently.
If drivers are getting genuinely confused by a cyclist, then they are probably elderly and suffering from dementure, or learners with no experience.
