My grandad always gave me stick for riding a bike with gears.
He used to say his bike had 2 gears
15t for the summer, 17t for the winter.
Used to do 24hour solo track rides, 'pop to bristol' rides and drafting buses up hills to save his legs.
This was all before I was born though.
I think it's where my love of biking comes from. (his stories)
I do so wish he could see my now with a fixed wheel.
