And picking up on what twitch says - although his death was traumatic and sudden, his funeral gave me one of my proudest moments. Along with my cousins I gave a reading. Despite the grief I was determined to hold it together, to stand straight and true and speak those words with strength and clarity. In a peculiar way I was looking forward to it. For those few minutes I tried to connect with him I suppose, and give him a personal and respectful send-off of my own.
I never think about that, but this thread has reminded me of an answer that really means something to the generic 'What's your proudest moment?' question.
