Just got back from this. For anyone who was there I was the lanky chap in the black t-shirt with the big white X on it. Bowed out in the first knockout round, finding it a lot harder than I thought it would be, pleased with 3 successive sub-25 second PBs though. On top of that my girlfriend came second in the women's division which = a lovely Rollapaluza cap for me!
Oh and Rob, you may have beat the 19 year old in lycra, but he got through by proxy because you abandoned ship! Was glad there were a few beer drinkers to challenge the sporty types though, even if they prevailed in the end. That said, the overall winner did a 49 sec 1K after a false start, which I have to admit was pretty impressive.
