Bernie, we plan to ride out from Wallingford (makes it sound like the horsemen of the apocalypes...) and will be waiting in the Fox and Hounds in Christams Common (link below). If you want to stop before riding up into the hills that's fine or you could meet us in the F&H - no problem either way as long as we can have an approximate time.
Three of us so far: Booga, jochta and me - hopefully at least one more will be joining us before the day (then we can pretend to be war, death, famine, pestilence!). Did you know that "Good Omens" by Gaiman and Pratchet was set in this part of the Chilterns - there is a lot of "riding out" in that book too.
