*this is not a reference to the wonderful bbcR4 series "tags mags and bags"

I do not know the series, but can speak as I find.

One of the most charming people I have ever met, totally dedicated to the charity, and so lacking in airs and graces. Her ability to freely mix with professors of medicine, the horrifically disabled, and assorted fund raisers, from every possible background, was a sight to behold.

She said some lovely things about our efforts as she announced our award, and after mentioning Team Dick van Bike paused, and laughing, said "I just love that name!" which drew applause from the audience.

Thanks everyone, especially from my cousin and his delightful son Tom, to whom such efforts and gestures mean so much.

Oh, and finally, the proof of the pudding, the coveted President's Award, from the charity.
