What a bunch of cunts. The building industry cuts corners at every opportunity, partly because contractors have to tender with unrealistically low cost projections, and this just seems like an attempt to allow them to make more money. But they won't. I can't understand what the point is? Building regs are a pain in the arse (my arse, specifically) but are there for a reason.
I don't believe they'll change the legislation that much. I bet they'll attempt to bring it all into one document and rebrand it, like every government does. Maybe they'll make it a bit easier for contractors not to do things properly.
I'm hungover and I can't think straight.
