I did a ride out to Warwick from Brum last month via the old Warwick Rd, It was a nice ride and according to my Endomondo stats I managed to do 10 miles of the route in 34 mins. This has got me thinking that a road bike with gears would be a good idea in the future as I might be able to get to do 10 miles in under 30 mins or maybe even attempting a time trial.
The canal route I rode back was less fun, lots of locks to climb up and then got very bumpy.
