It didn't translate well from concept to reality :-)
Like most concept bikes, it's deeply silly. In this particular case, the supposed 'problem' with road bikes is that the rider should ideally adjust his position to suit the terrain, being more upright for climbing and lower and more aero for descending. Cannondale, who should know better, have decided that the solution to this problem is a Continuously Ergonomic Race Vehicle, which dynamically adjusts the handlebar position as you ride. The rest of us will have to make do with the old-fashioned way of drop handlebars to provide the same range of position adjustment, with the alarming danger that we have to remove our hands from the bars for milliseconds at a time every time we want to change position. I'm surprised Cannondale didn't equip it with 150mm of suspension travel so that CERV riders could ride over rather than around the bodies of dead and dying cyclists which litter the road thanks to the incredibly dangerous practice of letting go of the bars. We've accepted this peril for about 120 years, but fortunately Cannondale have now come to the rescue.
