I recently recommended the Pro Vibe 7S stem, and also that the matching aluminium seat post is better than any comparably priced carbon post. Pro PLT and Ritchey WCS alloy components are also good, and the stems are reversible which might make a difference - the Pro Vibe 7S only works at -10°
