It looked like a gang of grungy individuals with sticks who fall off bikes a lot. Which, I suppose, is what it is.
One thing that came across well was the tight bond between the 300 or so who play. This also is a detraction as it made is seem a little cliquey. Nothing was said about the international side of the game. This could have added to its attraction and combatted the seemingly closed nature of the activity.
