Although some brands charge substantial hipster taxes, this is not universal, and some high end road frames really are better than generic Chinese designs. Whether they're better enough to justify the cost is moot. However, with PX charging £2k for a frame, people buying some Look, Cervelo, Time or Colnago frames won't actually be paying more.
