I've been thinking about this awful news all day (whilst trying to ignore the tedious helmet debate) and just read some of Dan's blog and his tweets from just Tuesday. Heartbreaking. Possibly all the more so as it happened in parallel with and yet in such contrast to the Brits' Olympic triumphs.
