I've probably taken about 2m of thread off the front wheel.
It started with a single strand somehow working loose and then that lengthened as I rode. This was all on a long descent where the speed was up, and then the thread managed to get around the fork and pull off a few rim lengths.
I've cut it free.
But should I be worried?
Basically this is a strand of carbon fibre that is a few rim lengths long, coming off a pair of Fulcrum Racing Lights (Fulcrum equivalent of the Campagnolo Hyperon).
I can't see any issue now that I've trimmed it back. But at the same time... WTF?!
