Not to mention the fact that we still don't know what actually happened. The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail, he hasn't been charged. Given the levels of muppetry seen on the roads on a daily baisis it's not beyond the realms of possibility that the rider was at fault here, not the driver.
This is not to say that it is not a tragedy, it is no matter what the cause. But kneejerk reactions will do nothing to improve the situation.
