Jadias - my personal thinking on hhsb. As a big generalisation is (with obvious rules aside)
Brakeless.
Big seat to bar drop if using drops or using bars that won't make the bike as quick as possible, ie risers, or bull horns but no areo extensions.
Stickers in hipster fashion, clothing, or bike related
Silly fast wheels that don't match, with the quicker one in the front
Pedals with straps/toeclips
All on a track frame that's seen some use
Your bike looks rideable over long distance, and is just to clean to be a hhsb
For me radness is also key - lists of what it should/shouldn't have seem a little futile - bike needs to look like it's ridden rad.
For every rule there's an exception - plenty of Time slaves would disagree with the clip & strap rule.
Risers are slave partly because you can't spin drops or bulls.
Tubs can be slave - especially on a plastic wheel.
Brakes have no part in rad riding so they're out - it's more about the spirit of the bike than an NJS-like list of approved suppliers and parts!!!
