Bottle bosses are a bit harder but cable guides are relatively easy. You've got to be careful but I wrap the lugs/joints in wet towels then use a blow torch to carefully heat the brazed-on cable guide and they should pop off. Then plenty of rubbing down should smooth them over. Alternatively you can cut/file/sand. Some pop them off using a cold chisel but IMHO that's quite full on.
