I'm leaving London and am selling my bike which was sold to me by a close friend and bike aficionado a year ago. I didn't use it that much frankly.
He bought all the parts new except for the frame, for which he paid GBP350 about two years ago.
The parts breakdown follows - as you can see he's pretty much chosen the best parts he could find concentrating on quality & strength. This thing will last forever, with regular tune ups and care. The frame could use a lick of new paint, and the parts could use a nice clean in the process. I bought new and decent tyres a few weeks ago.
My saddle got "removed" two weeks ago - at night, on a lively junction while we were having beers. The buyer would have to bring his own saddle and seatpost. Pick-up in North London, preferably asap as I'm moving out.
wheelset - Mavic Open Pro rims (classic looking, super strong, the standard), Suzue Promax Hubs (Japanese track racing hubs... smooth & classic looking, now discontinued so unique) http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx? ModelID=17147&utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=Google-Products-UK
Pedals, toe clips & straps were bought from Velosolo. Pedals are standard good quality track pedals, clips & straps are velosolo brand, and are double size to allow more secuirty & stiffness. http://www.velosolo.co.uk/shoppedal.html
