This is actually the same, just flip it for LH road (in the UK) and imagine the RH train has each rider tightly following the rider infront's wheel.
Things that help keep it smooth:
It's good to say 'last man' as you mover to the RH train and start to come through.
The fella on the front should ease off to (slightly) to let the RH rider move over.
Stick a finger out of signal or speak when moving over to the left.
If HOP are not doing this already then your speeds are going to rocket.
Out here in the countryside 'through and off' is how we always ride in groups. I'll be at it tomorrow morning.
