Prosecco Classico Gran Fondo 2012

Al, that sounds like a lot of cycling. When are we going to drink prosecco?!

Pencil me in for next Saturday. I'm out til late on Friday night so it might not be wise (8am start - what madness is this?!), but needs must and all that.

friday after lunch a spin up to monte cesan 20km is about two hours in the saddle..

saturday we climb monte grappa lunch near the summit, ride down to stunning town of bassano dell grappa, back to valdo.. about 40km

sunday we have all day to do the sportive.. 122km visiting loads of hill top towns and drinking prosecco / eating fab food at all the feed stations, plenty of time to drink prosecco between rides too cos we are staying at a wine estate, where it is literally on tap ;-)

also rides to Box Hill on saturdays, best not drink late on fridays, but prep bike / gear and get out early before the heat comes (middleoftheday)

i learnt that thursday is the new friday, when it comes to drinking alcohol, and recover in work time x
