Erm, not quite depending on who/what you believe.
Perry is meant to be made from Perry pears with traditional methods and all these pear ciders are made from concentrate, and are basically a pear flavoured drink.
Depends if you follow CAMRA or the National Association of Cider Drinkers as they both have differing opinions on the subject.
