REALLY REALLY REALLY DO NOT CONVERT
For a start it would make a rubbish fixie skidR. Your best bet is to clean it up, fresh cables, pads and a deep clean/ regrease. Then sell it on here/ via ebay, and just buy exactly what you want with the money.
its not quite puppy killing, but its not a gas pipe wreck either, if you know what I mean ;)
Thanks for the reply brickman, why would it make a rubish fixie?:p was thinking about freewheeling it or even put a coaster hub in there, but for now the plan is to grease and clean.
I live in the netherlands, and so these kind of bikes are not rare at all, mine was a real bargain though. Don't think i could buy anything in the vicinity of what i want, with the money i get for it once im done. Ill probably even loose money.
Was thinking about just using the frame/fork, polishing both handlebars and wheels, use spacer kit for rear wheel and bringing the frame to the powdercoater.
ill probably have the same fun fixing it up that way then in riding it. Couldnt buy anything close to what i want, with the money i can spend for it. Plus think of all the fun im having fixing it up.
Could be totally wrong though, nothing set in stone, all the time in the world.
Anybody perhaps more information on the frame? Or is it just a 99/100 frame, nothing special;)
