You seem like a nice dude fade and I don't want to argue or antagonise but this is speculation.

When you have ridden 300 miles over 2 days then tell us that an alu track bike is a fine tool for the job.

Fair point, I'm probably overstepping the mark talking about riding all the way to paris on one of these. I should have left it at the fact that it's easy enough to go over 100 miles on one of these without unreasonable amounts of discomfort.
