I bought this as a bike from Simplex on this thread.
Since then I've rebuilt it in various guises trying to make it fit me but I'm finally ready to admit it's too big for me.
I've also had it powdercoated black. Maybe I killed a puppy, I think not so much.
After the powdercoat I got some repro Columbus decals on the bay for it, only fitted the seattube one. Not sure it's the correct sticker, I got SLX decals, I just know the frame is Columbus tubing, not sure which type.
Frame is 62cm c2t on the seat-tube, 58cm c2c on the top tube. Italian threaded bb shell.
It has internal routing for the rear brake cable and this has a pipe inside the frame so no fishing around trying to find the end of your cable. Lugs are simple but nice and I thought the bridges etc were equally elegant.
I've cleaned the powdercoat off the front mech braze on so you should have no hassle with that.
As with when I bought it the chrome in the fork has a little patch of damage, probably from where a computer sensor was fitted.
The rear axle adjusters are pretty stiff, probably due to the powdercoat but they are present. Seat bolt is branded Sugino.
I'm including, frame, forks, headset (Shimano 600) and bb (Shimano 600) plus the shifters (Shimano 600 7 speed index/friction on the rear and friction on the front) seatpost, stem (3ttt), bars (Cinelli Campione Del Monde 66-42, these are internally cabled and come with perforated faux leather tape and bands for levers) and the hard to find stepped ferrule for the rear gear cabling.
