i normally get the london-Bristol train most weeks cause the first stop is reading and i never have an issue getting on the train with a bike. Afaik there are 6 spaces in the guards carriage and i have seen it loaded up with about 10, totally different situation from virgin trains where they were usually a pain in the ass to deal with and insisted you booked
