Had one on the back a while ago. Thought it was the best thing ever.
Then I did a skid and peeled a 6 inch plus strip of the tyre off, through to the weave.
Know several other fixie skiderrers that have done similar, seems to be something to do with the construction, once you get it started it just rips off in big chunks.
We sell them for £20 and std Gatorskins for £26. Presume that's full retail. I prefer std Gatorskin.
Each to their own though.
