Mods - please feel free to move this to a more appropriate section (Events, Rides&Races maybe?) but I was hoping to reach as many people as possible.
The organisers of Hell of the Ashdown (26th Feb) have agreed to donate some funds to the Herne Hill Velodrome campaign if the folks involved with it can confirm supply of 20 volunteer marshals by the end of today.
My housemate Lesley is volunteering, as will I (she's promised pints for those that help). It's a long-ish event so it may mean hanging around in Kent/Sussex for a bit. Might be a pleasing ride out and back though.
If anyone is willing to do a good deed for HHV please let lesleympinder know at her gmail address (Or contact her through my PMS or Facebook - our tweet her if you wish).
