Hello all. I'm working on a project to generate shapes and pattern from GPS tracking data. So far I've been gathering data from friends and loved ones but it occurred to me that it might be interesting to use the data of someone who really gets around.
If you're a messenger or you just get around a lot, I'd love your help.
Alls you need to do is go to openpaths.cc and download and install their app. You can also do this in the App Store and Android equivalent. This software was developed by the guys that discovered our iPhones have been tracking us for years. I've been running it on my 3Gs for weeks and it seems to have little effect on battery life. Once you've had it for a week or so, you can share the data with me and I can get making.
