6 speed cassette does not compute, you meant freewheel right? .
You obviously don't know about 6 speed uniglide cassettes, these are slide on with the last sprocket being the lockring. They fit to a freehub so are sans the built in freewheel mechnism. The OP needs to differentiate as to which is required.
