  • Good idea. I've woken up dripping in sweat and with muscles tense when I've drunk too much. Pretty sure that wasn't a panic attack though. So may be your body just reacting to the booze.

Are you stressed or susceptable to it? Only times I've ever had hyperventalation is when under immense stress and then not often. Calming down and breathing into a bag has helped.

Either way the doc will know best.

Apologies for the derail but mere seconds after typing this post I looked up from my phone and had to run out to the street as some kid was stealing the lights from my bike. Admittedly I should've taken them off but as the bike was in eyesight I thought it'd be ok (middle of the day in Portsmouth city centre, only stopped for a cup of tea).

Thankfully back home in London now with said lights. Kid managed to get one in his pocket and was trying for the other one. I ran out and simply told him to give it back. I'm 6 foot 6 with shaved hair and the kid was about 10 so I'd imagine I gave him a bit of a shock. I was quite nice about it though, I laughed, after he'd given it back, and told him to get lost. Silly boy (although he did say sorry).

Felt bad afterwards (perhaps he really needs lights, and I've got loads of sets) but it was too late and anyway its probably bad to reward theft (even if only attempted).
