  • I suffered with them when I was in my 20's. It was a combination of past crap catching up with me and being bullied at work that triggered the onslaught.
    I was put on betablockers by my GP for a while, but this is only (in my opinion) a short term solution. For me, the cure was years of therapy and having strategies in place for when I recognised the start of an attack (such as grounding myself and breathing into a paper bag to try to balance out the O2/C02 inbalance caused by the hyper ventilating).
    Like TS said, best go get checked out by your GP to be on the safe side though.
