Sure. My point being not uncommon to ride with a light/aero front wheel, and stiff rear wheel in the land of tarck beik.
I ride to the track with an Aksium (solid axle and nuts) front, and a 32h rear, and just change my cog for before riding the track.
My bike wouldn't make porn though...
