  • Hmm. If he honestly believed it was worth £185, then no. If he knew it wasn't worth that, then yes. I would've PM'ed him first, though - commenting on sale prices is okay if they're ridiculously overpriced, but putting him straight into bad traders (assuming this is what you did) is really a bit unfair, IMO.

Definitely no need for his attitude though.

thank you for the kind comments. i was just extremely angry as someone's deliberate actions screwing any sales i might have made and other peoples comment saying 'you've been called out on your scam, tough' sort of comments on every thread and personal page.

malaysian, if you look, it's all the same stuff. just stuff from my garage and the prices are so cheap a donation might be made if i can get rid of some stuff. so far only sold about £20's worth.

as for andy p...what the hell man?

for anyone who cares and allows me a defence.........i was genuinely told by vern at pearson's (the bike shop) that the seatpost retailed at £185 so i thought less than half price was a fair asking price. upto date, no-one has yet shown me any actual proof what the seatpost actually retails at. i have withdrawn the item from sale. i feel like i've been hung drawn and quatered for no reason. i was angry, now i feel dismayed and pretty sure i won't be able to sell owt else.

    shaun
