    Why should McQuaid know?

    I agree it's a non-story, and it infuriates me that hysterical European sports rags leap into these things with such eagerness, but if Cav has missed any tests I'd think that as World Champion McQuaid might want to hear about it. I'm sure almost every rider has a missed test here and there, especially if they tend to reside in different countries and they have many different obligations, but if three missed tests can mean a suspension* a la* Rasmussen then it is something of a story.

    If it was one of the Schlek brothers who'd been accused of 'skipping' drug controls we might be looking at the story in a slightly less forgiving light.

    For the record I still believe Cav is totally clean.
