dammit i already have a bb7 on the front, and you said yourself the discs were still a bit bent when they came...! just want some straight discs to replace the well wonky ones i have at the minute.

Ever tried truing discs? Quite easy, I rarely have to replace bent ones, and an adjustable spanner is about the most perfect tool for the job.
