How do you work it out?
Total capacity is what changes with RD cage length. Say you have a triple 50/40/30 and 11-28 cassette, the worst case of (50+28)-(30+11)=37 tooth difference, which happens to be the capacity of Shimano GS (medium cage/road) dérailleurs
