Perhaps worth noting that markets can only focus on one thing at a time and right now it's 'Europe'. Through austerity measures and the use of the veto, the UK government are sending a message to the markets that they are not part of the mess. Should the UK have a series of uncovered gilt auctions, things get very interesting.
