well, maybe not that many owners? i think the nitto riser is far way overpriced - and if you really want to spend so much money on a riser, there are a lot more better alternatives.
but, here is the story, so far as i know: there was a very small margin being affected. to not recall all the risers, only certain distributors who got a delivery with that margin, are being notified. as a endconsumer, you should call your lbs or wherever you got your bars from, and ask if it was a margin from one of that distributors. then it will probably get replaced.
to end the confusion and to reassure customers, nitto has rechecked the design of the bars and will from now on sell it under a different name, so you know you definitely get a fresh margin.
