She said she worked. I wonder what work she could possibly do? Whatever job it was, and I feel it may have been an imaginary one, real or no, that job is now gone.
I don't particularly feel upset by her comments at all, because I have met people like her, but they have the decency(?) to keep their views out of the public domain (mostly), and only have these thoughts expressed amongst like minded colleagues.
Arresting her will not change anything. In fact, it may make the situation worse.
Virginia Slims cigarettes (should be posted in the Middle Aged thread, apols), had an famous advert, and the strapline was You've Come A Long Way Baby. Maybe, but clearly we still have some way to go yet.
