The only person who stopped him (before the tail end of his career) was Earnie Shavers, who had a punch like a sledgehammer and loads of early stoppages.

You can say what you like about Bugner, but he went in with some top guys when the heavyweight division was at its best and, although a fairly negative fighter, didn't disgrace himself. Haye certainly wouldn't have stopped him.
