My regular 32-mile quick spin through south Herts this morning, but this time fixed. First time doing Vinyards Rd and Carbone Hill with one gear. Not easy, but not really that much harder than with gears. Don't know why I've shied away from attacking 1:10s fixed before. Oh. Yes I do. Scared of failure. I'm definitely going to do many more of my shorter training rides fixed now.
And what a stunning morning!
