Right I'll start the weekends proceedings. Due to work Friday is this weeks sunday so myself and pal did a 54 miler out to Epping, up and down some hilly bits and then out to Ongar on some loops.
If you're off out this weekend you're in for a treat people! Beautiful chilly autumnal air today, low low cloud and fog soaked us in a rather pleasant manner. My beard became so clogged with damp that when I flicked my head round to look behind a spray of dew shot out behind me like an excited salivating dog sticking its head out of a car window! Leaf mould and moisture made the roads seriously greasy so we were a bit excitable on the bends (saw a couple of chaps looking very pleased with themselves at the tea hut with x bikes, which - if you have em are certain to be fun at the moment). Came back aching and happy. No pintage was taken, back to the grind after lunch, but in a fuzzy slow motion which inevitably meant that very little was achieved.
If you're out tomorrow you'll need lights, we felt a bit nervy on the busier A roads in that fog.
