If BBC4 went and the good stuff on there relocated to BBC2 - turning BBC2 back in to the channel it used to be - and the total crap on BBC1 made way for the entertainment stuff being pushed off BBC2 then I think that would be great. Fewer channels with better quality programmes that do not patronise the audience by thinking they won't watch if it's not celebrity-led or that 'ordinary' people need constant drivel to keep them interested.
